BUZY HANDS-CARDS, PAPERCRAFT & SUPPLIES FACEBOOK GROUP

For a long time I have wanted to run a papercraft group, I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator but this group is for everyone not just Stampin’ Up! fans. I want people to join who are like minded, willing to share their ideas, participate in challenges, swaps, cards for charity etc.
Obviously being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, these are my products of choice. If anyone needs products or would like information, I am more than happy to obliged but it’s not a prerequisite of joining the group.

JOINING MY TEAM

When I first went to a Stampin’ Up! Class, I loved the products but then again I loved any crafting products. I was a craft product junkie, had everything, but used very little, a couple of years ago I thought enough is enough you have all these gorgeous things, use them, so I started making my Christmas cards, I needed around 160, yes I know it sounds a lot but when my Mum passed away I took over her list as well, she loved Christmas and sending and receiving the cards.
Making so many (casing all of them) I used my stash and that’s when the penny dropped, the difference in the quality of the products was amazing, the feel of the Stampin’ Up! papers and cardstock, the ink, print of the stamp, so much better than any of the other products I was using. Don’t get me wrong I still use some other products, but I have to really love the design because I have found the quality just doesn’t compare.
Obviously straight after Christmas came the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-brations, I was like a kid in the candy store, at the time my Demonstrator suggested I sign up, no way would I consider it, she tried many times after that to convince me to sign up. Each time I refused, to me, being a demonstrator meant I would have to sell etc. I didn’t comprehend that I could be demonstrator and my only customer, it was quite a while before the lightbulb flashed and I realised that if I signed up, I would be getting the discount not someone else, apart from which there are other perks that demonstrators get, seeing new catalogues one month before anyone else, pre-ordering when new products are released, a quarterly magazine, being able to attend On Stage a biannual convention, connecting with other demonstrators who generously share their talents, and you get the opportunity to earn free products and incentive trips based on your performance.
I took the step and joined Stampin’ Up! I am passionate about their products and now I want to share that passion.
The Company’s Mission Statement is in it’s Statement of the Heart

To love what we do and share what we love,
As we help others enjoy creativity
And worthwhile accomplishments . . .
In this we make a difference!

So, that’s how I became a demonstrator, but what’s in it for you, simple answer anything you want it to be.

People join for many reasons. No matter what sort of demonstrator you are, the benefits are the same.

You could join because you want to :

Do it as a hobby:: you purchase the products at a discounted price (entry level 20%) for personal use, maybe family or friends will want to buy something through you.

For a specific purpose:  sell for a short period to raise extra cash

Be your own boss: work for yourself when you want to and earning extra income
or make it your career: set up and work your own business, either full time or part-time. This can be in person or online, the options are endless.

So how to do go about it? You can give me a call or send me an email for more information or click on the “Join my Team Button” then:

1.    Read through the Online Independent Demonstrator Agreement (IDA) and check the box to acknowledge

2.    Choose you Starter Kit

Choose any current products up to the value of $235 for a joining fee of $169 in addition you will receive a Business Supplies Pack values at $80 free of charge and will not incur and postage or shipping costs, in total you receive $315 value for only $169

3.    Complete the form with your personal details and pay for your Starter Kit by credit card
Once that's been processed (usually straight away) you will get your demonstrator number, they will send a message through to me, I will then get in touch and invite you to the team forums.
To remain active and continue to receive your discount you just need to place $454 sales in a calendar quarter (3  month period. This does not include the quarter you join in). There are no exit fees or penalties should you not wish to continue.
There is nothing to lose but lots to gain.
I look forward to you joining my team…………………….

GETTING THERE

It's amazing what you can achieve with production cardmaking and a Stamparatus, too windy here to be outside today so I've managed too get a few more packs put together.

Another of my favourite Stamp sets is Night in Bethlehem, there are so many ways to used it especially with it having the matching Bethlehem Edgelits Dies.

Running late (as i usually am) with my Christmas cards this is literally a five minute card

Whisper White cardstock   5¾ x 8¼ scored at 4⅛ (inches) - 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5 (cm), a two inch strip of DSP. How quick and simple is that?

SKIPPY THE RED NOSED BOOMER

Having a lot of family and friend overseas it's nice to have something Aussie related for some of my Christmas cards. Who said you have to stick to Christmas stamps for your cards?.

I love the kangaroo in the Animal Outing Stamp Set, as lovely as a koala would be for Christmas I think wrapped pressies would be better on this card so I fussy cut them from the So Santa Stamp Set. In someways,  most of the the Stamp Set are very much mix and match, possibilities are endless, only limited to your imagination. The Santa hat I used is from a retired set but hey, there's a Santa hat in the same stamp set as the presents, a bit more fussy cutting.

Measurement for card

Card Base:Old Olive  5¾ x 8¼ scored at 4⅛ (inches) - 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5 (cm)

Inside for Sentiment: Whisper White  5½ x 3⅞ (inches) - 14 x 9.5 (cm)

UNDERNEATH THE LAMP POST

When The Beautiful You stamp set first came out, I hate to say I really didn't like it, i never thought I would ever use it and to be honest I can't remember why I actually bought it but since I did I have grown to love it and can't tell you how many times I have used it.

This card was cased from German Demonstrator Simone Schmider .

Again I have used a retired item, the Christmas Lamp Post Thinlit Dies but again a substitution can be made, basically anything she can hang onto eg;

  • Lovely as a Tree Stamp set
  • Vertical Greetings Stamp set
  • At Home with You Stamp set
  • Ready for Christmas Stamp set
Measurement for card

Card Base: Basic Black 5¾ x 8¼ scored at 4⅛ (inches) - 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5 (cm)
Next layer:  Real Red or Old Olive 5½ x 3⅞ (inches) - 14 x 9.5 (cm)
Top: Whisper White  5¼ x 3⅝ (inches)  - 13.4 x 9.3 (cm)
