OOPS I'VE DISAPPEARED

I wish I was more au fait with technology.

I recently got a message from Blogger to say that all blogs using Google comments will be reverted back to using Blogger comments, silly me didn't know exactly what that meant, I do now, apparently my profile has disappeared.

So I will have to start again:

Hi I’m Sue Allen, Stampin’ up! Demonstrator  from Gorokan on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW. I’m married to Graham, no children but we do have a four legged fur baby, Max, a Wheaton Terrier and  feather baby George a Cockatiel , both very cute and very spoilt.

I've been loving Stampin' Up! products for almost 4 years, became a hobby demonstrator 18 months ago and over the last few months became a full demonstrator to help spread my love and enthusiasm for the products Stampin' Up! has a wonderful family community that I am so happy to be a small part of.

Now to try and add this to the other side of my blog.

EAT, DRINK AND BE ENGAGED

Recently I was asked to make an Engagement Card, the couple had actually been engaged for months but have only just got around to having a party.

Unfortunately, I don't have any engagement sets or sentiments so I wasn't sure what I could do, I scoured Pinterest (doesn't everyone) and came across something I could case, sadly I don't know the persons name that designed it, but I loved it. I had to change everything to fit in with what I had but we are all very happy with the result.

The only things used that are not current product is the framelits to cut the heart and the flowers, I will include substitutions in the product list.

If anyone would like the full details for putting it together please leave a comment.

I have a huge lesson to learn taking photo's of cards, this one certainly doesn't do the card justice, it is absolutely gorgeous, hope you like it too.

MY RETURN TO A STAMP CLUB

Yesterday, I was invite by a friend, who's turn it was to host at a Stamp Club, I haven't been to one for awhile and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm not really a green person nor was I a fan (until recently) of  the Hoppy Together stamp set and guest what we used, Green (as in Lemon Lime Twist) and the Hoppy Together stamp set and made this Double Easel card. Love it.

With only 3 days left of Sale-a-bration it looks like I have to place another order so I can get my hands on this set. Unfortunately the matching framelits have sold out but it wouldn't be hard to fussy cut or if anyone had a Brother Scan n cut it would be a breeze.

Only 3 more days left to get your hands on this great stamp set, it can be yours  free with an order of $90, click the button above to my shop to place an order.

DAY ONE KONDOING MY CRAFTROOM

I've started at least, I started with my Designer Series Paper, I Loved It and I Chopped it, for those of you who know Kylie Bertucci, you will be well aware of her Love it Chop it Workshop, if you don't you should.

The premise behind it is if you love the paper chances are you won't use it, but, if you chop it you will, guillotines and trimmers have been going berserk around the world. Check out the Facebook Page Kylie's Love it Chop it Workshop to see how it works.

At first I wasn't sure, so I thought I would start small just a few sheets, well today I did the lot and now I can fully appreciate the concept and I know I will now used it and then I'll need to buy more .

Just needs sorting into designs and get the card stock out.

WHY CAN'T MARIE KONDO LIVE IN AUSTRALIA?

For those who know me, know I work much better under pressure, sadly though that is not always the most effective. Many years ago my Mum visited me at work and went home to Dad and said my office was a pig sty.

A few days later she was out shopping, found this and couldn't resist getting it for me.

I can't tell you how delighted she was the next time she came to visit me at work, no my office was no better but the sign was proudly displayed on my wall.

Cardmaking and papercraft are not my only vices, I love patchwork, knitting, crocheting, I'll have a try at any craft that grabs my attention, so my stash is actually stashed in various cupboards and drawers around our house. Thankfully I have a  understanding and supportive husband

Getting a little older I need a bit more organisation in my life so I have decided to have a huge make over starting  in my craft room.

Doing Kylie Bertucci's  Demonstrator Support Program, one of the things she tries to do is get us out of our comfort zone, so that is what I am doing right now.

To keep me on track I am posting a little video of of my mess in my craft room at the moment (way out of my comfort zone) and will keep you up to date with my progress.

Wish me luck.

I'M LATE, I'M LATE

The last few weeks have flown by and I am running late for most things especially my Mail it Monday cards. Hopefully this week is catch up.

This Mail it Monday card is actually not mine, it belongs to my gorgeous dog Max, everyone loves Max, he has lots of friends and even has his own Facebook Page.

Two of his furry friends (not on Facebook) have his posts read to them by their Mum, so Max wanted a card to send to Harry and Miss Winnie. He begged so sweetly, this is what i came up with for him to send.

This combines the two current stamp sets that relate to our barking friends, Bella & Friends and Happy Tails, I know in a few weeks we will be told what is and isin't carrying forward into the new catelogue but I will NEVER get rid of or stop using Bella because it was made for my Max.

Well, I think so.

Our Third Stamping Around The World Blog Hop

Hello, if I have set up this Blog Hop correctly you should hopping on here from Jo Anne's Blog, fingers crossed.

One of the things I love about card making is that it can be as simple or as complex as you want, also quick or time consuming as you need it to be. Simple and quick come in very handy when you are caught short and need a quick card.

The one I have made for this months Blog Hop couldn't be simpler or quicker..

The Stamping Around the World team came together to collaborate on an exclusive monthly tutorial bundle which we follow up with a blog hop,  using the same products we showcased in the tutorials.

My March Tutorial used the Lovely Lattice Stamp Set from the current Sale-a-brations Catalogue. There are so many way to use this type of set but how simple, quick and effective is a little bit of Versamark, White Embossing Powder and beautiful Night of Navy cardstock?. Hope you like it.

Now, over to Lori, enjoy
