WELL HELLO PAPER PUMPKIN-THE SHELLI KIT

For many years Stampin’ Up! has produced a monthly subscription kit, by the name of Paper Pumpkin, unfortunately we can’t get it here in Australia, it is only available in North America and parts of Canada.

However, from 15th May, for one month only a Limited-Edition Paper Pumpkin Kit will be available to global markets.

This is a very special kit, Shelli Gardner, Chairperson and Co-Founder of Stampin’ Up!, has partnered with Paper Pumpkin to create this nature-focused, Shelli-inspired kit. It is actually titled “Hugs from Shelli”

Part of what makes a Paper Pumpkin kit special is that they don’t reveal the projects inside the box ahead of time. But I can give you a bit of a sneak peak.

To see the rest of the projects, you will have to purchase the kit
The Shelli kit from Paper Pumpkin includes the following:
·   An exclusive stamp set not available anywhere else
·   One Classic Stampin’ Spot® from the Classic ink collection
·   Paper and crafting materials to create 12 cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs)
·   12 exclusive, coordinating envelopes
·   Adhesives and embellishments for all 12 cards

Coordinating Stampin’ Up! colours: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla
Shelli describes the kit as ‘A touch of earthy and elegant spring with lots of layers and texture.’
Everything in the Hugs from Shelli kit is pre-cut and ready to go.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A clear block is NOT included with this kit, however a block (Clear Block D) can be purchased separately.
This is a beautiful kit, perfect for beginner card makers and avid card makers.
The special cost for this one-off kit is A$37 plus (P and H).
I will post further information as we get close to the 15th May, 2019, this is just to whet your appetite.

With only a few days of April left, if you would like to get a copy  of the Stamping Around the World Bundle which comes in PDF form,

you can get yours free with any order of A$78 or a copy can be purchased by contacting me sueallensimplycraft@bigpond.com for A$20

Simple Stamping meets Flourishing Phrases.

It's time for our April Blog Hop, as you know I am part of the Stamping Around the World team, we got together to collaborate on an exclusive monthly tutorial bundle, then we follow up with this Blog Hop by posting a project using the same stamp set.

We are a small group this month, if you are following the hop you would have come to me from Jo Anne, I haven't seen her project yet but I am sure it will be beautiful.

I love quick  and simple cards but I must admit, I am having trouble getting my head around the 'Simply Stamping " concept,  the times I have tried, it looks like a mess on the page, but there is nothing like perseverance so I've had another go at it.

Flourishing Phrases  has to be one of my favourites, thankfully it has been carried  over into the new catalogue

It is such a versatile Bundle (yes dies are available to) , Birthdays, Weddings, Sympathy etc. and works with various techniques.

To purchase either the Stamp Set, Dies or Bundle just click here to go to my 24 hour store, not forgetting to use the Hostess Code for April, MTUJTVXS.

Thank you for visiting my blog, now I will hand you over to Stefanie, enjoy your visit.

PANIC OVER

This time of year gets very exciting with anticipation of the coming of the new Annual Catalogue from Stampin' up!. Obviously to launch new products some old favourites must be retired, but I got a hell of a shock this morning when I first saw the announcement of the retiring products, it was huge.

Not being a morning person, i wasn't awake enough at the time to realise that the list included stamps that had previously been available in wood mount or clear mount,  many of which will be carried over in the the new catalogue but as cling stamps.

For those of you who haven't heard of cling stamps, they are classic red rubber stamps by Stampin’ Up! with a new style of image label with adhesive that will cling like crazy to your acrylic blocks or Stamparatus plates every time you use them.  This little video will explain more.

Now, back to

If you click on the about poster, you will be redirected to my 24 hour store and will be able to see which products are retiring. These products will only be available until 3rd June, 2019 or until supplies run out.

Though on the list, the following products will carry over in the cling mount format.:

Pop of Petals Rooted in Nature
Label Me Pretty Country Road
Special Celebrations Lilypad Lake
Itty Bitty Greetings First Frost
Botanical Bliss Crafting Forever
This Little Piggy Artisan Textures
Flourishing Phrases          Bokeh Dots

Heartland Tropical Chic
Peaceful Place Sea of Textures

Dashing Deer                  Painted Glass
Winter Woods                 Beautiful You

DEMONSTRATOR TRAINING BLOG HOP APRIL 2019

Recently, I was asked to guess which Stampin' Up! products could be retired at the end of May. As much as we don't like the thought of any product retiring, it's obviously some have to, to make room for all the new lovely items coming soon in the new catelogue.

So I thought I would use this Training Blog Hop to make my prediction public.

One that I think might go is the Daisy Delight Stamp Set, it has been available for two years now so it's time may be up.

It's a set that I have used several times and will continue to use, it is so versatile, especially having a matching punch, not that I have used it on this card.

Only a few days to go before I know if I have guessed correctly.

Details of the products used are listed below, if you would like to purchase any on them, click right here to go to my 24 hour online store.please use the Hostess Code for April MTUJ7VXS with orders under $250.

But first, coffee in hand and I am going to have a look at the other creations in this Blog Hop.

We are a group of Stampin’ Up ! Independent Demonstrators who are taking part in a training program with Kylie Bertucci. The training is aimed at helping us  build our own Stampin’ Up! businesses and includes people from various part of the world. Please click on the next link and enjoy.

KYLIE'S INTERNATIONAL BLOG HIGHLIGHT APRIL 2019

Stepping out of my comfort zone again, this time joining in Kylie's International Blog Highlight for April, 2019. I'm not very confident and certainly not competitive, so to actually put something out there and ask people to vote on it, it is nerve racking for me.

I found this card on Pinterest, unfortunately it had been pinned by someone else so I have no idea of the designer, if this is your design and you happen to see this blog, thank you.

One of my favourite Stamp sets is Beautiful You, I didn't like it when it first came out and I have no idea why I bought it, but now I love it and have used it so many times.

I chose Pool Party for the colour, silly me didn't check if I had any Pool Party Cardstock, nope, so instead of having a card layer of the colour , I sponged around the edges, I am very happy how it has turned out. I think it will be one I will make a few of and have on hand.

Now here comes the hard part for me, if you like this card would you please vote for me by clicking here. I would be most grateful. Also, you will be able to have a look at the other  incredible projects from other Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world
