PRETTY POPPIES

I love seeing poppies just blowing in the wind, so I had to replicate the look,

I cut a little strip of this card so that I paper I used inside would be seen and give a contrast.

The image is from the Painted Poppy stamp set, i stamped it twice, using a small stippling brush, I added Granny Apple Green for the grass.

WHAT CAN I USE THAT FOR?

The other day I needed a bit of Terracotta Tile cardstock, instead of going through my scrap box, I was naughty and cut the strip from a card base.

i was going to throw the left over piece in the scrap box and then had a second thought, I decided to use it for a Daisy Lane card. I haven't put a sentiment inside, I'll save that until I know how I am going to use it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING

Recently my darling husband had his Birthday, I didn't forget, I intended making a card for him all day but things came up and I suddenly realised at about 11.30pm I didn't have a card for him, and no Newsagent open.

Over the last year he has gone back to fishing but guess who hadn't got around to getting the Stampin' Up! stamp set Best Catch. I have been going to order it for ages but each time i put an order in I forgot.

I had a scramble through my old stash and thankfully I found a fish, no idea where I got it or when but beggars can't be choosers.

Another of my favourite Stampin' Up! colours is Pretty Peacock, so between the two I was really chuffed how it turned out.
