COLOUR COMBO BLOG HOP FEBRUARY, 2020

Welcome to my Blog, you came to me via Gez, we have 16 people taking part in this months Hop so please get comfortable and enjoy the journey.

I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw the colours for this month, they certainly set a challenge, Pool Party, Merry Merlot and Pineapple Punch.

I've kept it simple, I haven't added a sentiment as yet, I will do that before I actually use the card.

I used the Pineapple Punch for the card base, I attached a strip of Merry Merlot to a strip of Whisper White then ran them through with the Basketweave Embossing Folder.

Using a die from the Painted Labels Die I cut the circle from Pool Party cardstock.

Just to add a little more Merry Merlot I stamped some vellum with the small Daisy Lane stamp and pinched it out.

Details of products used are below, thank you so much for stopping by, grab a coffee and please continue through the Blog Hop and see how everyone has dealt with this challenge.

  1. I had trouble with this combo too Sue. But we both pulled a Rabbit out of our hats and got it done.
Love that you left a sentiment off it for now. The right sentiment will come at the right time. Xo

  4. Lovely card Sue, I struggled with Pineapple punch as I find it too bright. Great card, I often leave the sentiment off until I am sending so it can be for any occasion required :-)
