STAMPIN' FOR CHRISTMAS SEPTEMBER BLOG HOP

I am really happy to be taking part in this Blog Hop today.

This is a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators not only giving inspiration for  Christmas but in my case, getting me prepared early. Christmas cards are a huge thing for me, living in Australia but with most of my family living in the UK, I need a lot of cards.

I feel like I have cheated a bit with this card, it’s a very simple card but it's wasn't meant to be a card, that sounds a bit odd I know but I am in another group that starts each January,  issues challenges each month using different themes all relate to Christmas, so we get a head start on our Christmas cards, great idea.

Last month the challenge was to make gift tags minimum 10.

As we don't have any children, Graham & I decided last year that we wouldn't be buying any Christmas presents (for anyone except our dog Max), we joined a group of people that sponsored farmers who have been doing it exceptionally tough through the severe drought Australia had been experiencing We told our friends (pleased to say some of them did the same thing). We will be doing that again this year so 2020 has been very cruel, though many of the drought areas have had great rain, 2020 has brought very bad bushfires, severe flooding then to top things off Covid 19.

I did the challenge and made my 10 gift cards and now have turned them into 10 Christmas cards.

As you can see they are very simple.

I added a 2 inch strip of Real red cardstock that I embossed using the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder, to a Mossy Meadow card base.

Using the Pine Tree Punch punched a piece of Gold Foil which I also embossing with the  Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder, I attached it to the Nested label die cuts, popped that up on dimensionals, added a sentiment, a bow and voila. Hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by, I will now hand you over to Simone, click on the button below, then sit back, enjoy the projects and be inspired.
