It has been several months since I took part in a blog hop and I am thrilled my first one back is with Stamping Inkspirations.
This month the theme is a Sketch Challange, this is the sketch we were given:
My measurements are based on A4 cardstock and are in imperial measurements
Card base Gorgeous Grape Cardstock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 4 1/8"
Basic White Cardstock 5 3/4” x 4” (for the inside)
Scraps Basic White *
* a strip 5 7/8" x 1/8"
* enough for stamping
Pieces of Simply Marbleous DSP Cardstock 5 7/8" x 3 6/8" and 2 3/4” x 2 3/4"
Inks : Memento Tuxedo Black, Gorgeous Grape
Stamp Set: Turtle Friends
Turtle Punch
Tasteful Labels Dies
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Dimensionals
- DSP tear about 1/2" to 3/4" off the bottom
- Attach to card front, flush to the righthand side
- Attach white strip to lefthand side appromiately 1/8" from edge
- Attach DSP square to Basic White square, attach to card front
- Using Tuxedo Black ink stamp turtle onto a scrap piece of Basic White and punch out
- Using Gorgeous Grape stamp shell on the turtle, stamp the party hat on a scrap and fussy cut it.
- Using glue attach hat to turtle
- Using dimensionals attach turtle to card front
- Die cut label and stamp sentiment using Gorgeous Grape, again use dimensionals to attach.
