KYLIE'S INTERNATIONAL BLOG HIGHLIGHTS DECEMBER, 2019

Welcome to the last International Blog Highlights for 2019.

The theme as always with this is Encouragement and you will be able to vote for your 5 favourites by clicking the button

This month, I used the beautiful Floral Essence Photopolymer stamp set but I have to be honest it is not my design, I did case it from a design I saw on Pinterest, so thank you Sue Prather from the USA.

Petal Pink and Basic Grey work so well together, the flowers are stamped on Whisper White cardstock with the Basic Grey and then coloured with the Petal Pink Blends.  I used the largest flower for the base which I fussy cut, but for the smaller ones, these were just punched out as were the leaves, love those punches.

i hope you like this card and if you do I would love you to vote for me. When you click the button below, the gallery will pop up, then please click on the little heart on the right handside of my photo. The heart will turn red to register the you vote. You can vote for upto 5 cards. A huge thank you for taking your time to do this.

KEEPING IT SIMPLE

Nothing in life needs to be over complicated, including making a card.

in 2018, Stampin' Up! came up with the concept of "Simple Stamping" basically this was, that with only cardstock, a stamp set and some ink you could make a beautiful card. This would be great for the new stamper but also for the avid stamper who could juzz it up a bit. Well this card is somewhere in between.

I added a punch to highlight the sentiment, I've used the gorgeous Pretty Peacock Ink, the feather stamp comes from the Hugs from Shelli, Paper Pumpkin Kit that was available earlier in the year.

The simplicity of this style of design can be used to make any type of card, Birthday, Get well, Sympathy.

THEY ARE STARTING TO ARRIVE

Even if I didn't already know I was way behind making my Christmas cards, I would today because we have started to receive some, even Max our dog got one in the mail yesterday.

I like quick and easy at the best of time, but with only a few weeks to go, I need super quick and easy, I need to make about 160, crazy.

Like most crafters I scower Pinterest, I came across this lovely card by Liz Yuille, a UK Demonstrator, very quick, very simple, a stamp set I love but colours I would never think to put together, especially for Christmas, Real Red and Early Espresso. I just love it. Thank you Liz.

The Wise Men from Afar, sadly is retired but it is one I will keep and use year after year, though I don't think I would have stamped it in Early Espresso, how great does it look?.

This is one card you can make multiples of very quickly.
