Many people find fussing cutting a nightmare, a little tip, always move the paper and not the scissors as you cut and so there aren't any fluffy edges go around the shape with the side of a marker pen afterwards.

HACK OF THE DAY 21st AUGUST, 2019

There are some beautiful cardstock and papers out on the market, especially the Stampin' Up! range, no one likes to waste any but unless you are doing a one-sheet wonder project there will always be scraps, I used to throw them away, but that was a waste.

I would recommend you get yourself a container of some sort and save the scraps and over the next few months I will be doing a series on my blog on how to use even the smallest pieces of these gorgeous papers.

Stampin' Up! have some beautiful faceted gems and rhinestones for embellishments, sadly they don't come in every colour, that doesn't matter, with the blends and markers you can have any matching colour your heart desires.

Sometimes a new photopolymer stamp can be a little tacky and hard to ink up correctly, the best way to handle this is to firstly stamp in Versamark then stamp in colour. Stamps perfectly.
