Doesn’t a week go quickly, Mail it Monday for another week  has been and gone, this week I’ve used Butterfly & Gingham Gala. I like butterflies but I’m not mad about them, well I wasn’t until I got this set. I have fallen in total love with the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.

Again, simply and quick:

In my opinion the one thing wrong with some of this paper is that the beautiful butterflies are over the edge, that doesn’t mean those bits can’t be used as you will see from the inside of the card.

Both the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper are items in the Sale-a-Bration Catelogue, you can get your hands on either of them for free when you spend $90 (before tax and shipping) on any order. A quick warning, the Gingham Gala has been very popular and is currently low in stock so if you want it you need to order now.

I realised something I haven’t done for ages was heat embossing, it was so long ago I had trouble finding my heat tool, never fear it is now here and I will be using it a lot more in the future.

Demonstrator Training February, 2019 Blog Hop

I messed this up last month and therefore missed out and I nearly missed out again this month because I wasn't organised properly and naughty naughty didn't have it in my planner.
This blog hop is with a group of Stampin’ Up ! Independent Demonstrators who are taking part in a training program with Kylie Bertucci. The training is aimed at helping us  build our own Stampin’ Up! businesses and includes people from various part of the world. Blog hops are part of the training program but not being tech savvy these things are taking me out of my comfort zone.
I only realised Sunday that this blog hop was taking place, as I said I hadn't written it down, so it was a mad scramble to pop something together, however in saying that I like what I've done, it was very quick and easy, very little stamping, mainly punching and gluing .
I've always been partial to a bit of Gingham so I'm chuffed with the Gingham Gala DSP, like most people I like easy and what could be easier than the Botanical Butterflies DSP and a punch.
Its a bit deceptive because actually it's only half a card front

How cute is that? I actually punched four Whisper White Butterflies and give the DSP a bit more stability

I Hope you like this quick little card, I have a few Birthdays coming up next week and as yet haven't made the cards so I think I will just be adapting this.

Thanks for stopping by , grab a cuppa a enjoy the rest of the hop

If you read my post last week about keeping Postman Pat employed, well this is to let you know I am doing my bit.

A friend decided, she was going to mail at least one card a week, so Mail it Monday was born, it's a great idea because it is always lovely to receive a card, especially a beautiful handmade card and we need to spread love and cheer around so I jumped on the band wagon.

So far I have sent two and i thought it would be a good idea a) to show them to you and b) maybe encourage you to do the same.

My first one:

Using the Butterfly Gala Bundle and the Botanical Butterfly DSP , one of the FREE items you got choose from the Sale-a-brations Catelogue when you spend $90

This Mondays card is a stamp set also from the Sale-a-brations Catelogue, Lovely Lattice.

I try not to follow trends willy nilly, but I have succumbed to the KonMari phenomenon, I haven't got through the first chapter and I already know where I have been going wrong for the last 50 years.

I now know my idea of doing a little each day is totally wrong and the whole de-cluttering process needs to be done on mass. Chapter 2 will hopefully tell me how too get everything in the whole house together to do it on mass.

I thought I would jump in sorting our photographs, my aim for many years now was to scrapbook my photo's and memories, when I learnt about Project Life I got all the bits and bobs thinking that would be the easiest and quickest way to go, wronggggggg. I just accumulated more craft supplies.

I have been through the four boxes of photos I had in our bedroom, i wish I had a $1 for each photo, Hell I'd be happy with 10 cents there was that many of them. Marie Kondo would be proud of me, I have got rid of loads, ones out of focus, ones where I have duplicates, ones where I have duplicates of duplicates and ones where I haven't got the foggiest clue who is in them.

Four boxes have now been culled into three, they are not the normal size photo boxes, they are large ones, now I just have to go through all those in other rooms before I can truly Kon Mari them.

Then the plan is to scrapbook, watch this space.....................................

As you know I got together with  other demonstrators from various parts of the world have put together a monthly bundle of tutorials, this bundle can be yours free with an order of of $78.00 and over before taxes and shipping.

These designs are exclusive and only available for the month of February, 2019, they will be forwarded in PDF form.

The bundle can also be purchased at a cost of $20, please email me for more information at sueallensimplycraft@bigpond.com.
