When heat embossing, there are a few things that can create a problem. Oils in our skin can be transferred to the cardstock, stray embossing powder, static the list can go on.

On way of controlling this is rubbing an Embossing Buddy over the cardstock before stamping.

The Embossing Buddy is and antic-static bag, when rubbed over the cardstock will stop that shouldn't be there affecting your card.

The embossing powder will stick to where it should and nowhere else.
