Welcome to my blog, today I am part of the Joy of Sets, Love is in the Air Blog Hop.

With Valentines Day just around the corner lots of people concentrate on those cards, however Love is in the Air, can cover many this, engagement, wedding, anniversary or maybe just letting someone know how important they are to you, we don't need a specific day for that, so I've made this little simple card not to give my husband on Valentines Day but some other day when he isn't expecting it.

I have to say, usually I'm not one for hearts and flower type of paper but this year I just love this one.

Sadly this hasn't photographed well, it is dull and pouring down here and no amount of artificial light helped.

My card is an A4 piece of card stock cut in half but I trimmed off ¾ " from the front..

Now it's time to continue with the Blog Hop, please click the next button to move on to Libby, thank you for taking the time to stop awhile at my blog.

  1. I just love how the DSP can really make the card! When I need a quick card, it always sees me through. Love the foil embellishments on this paper. It really makes the heart pop. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Such a lovely fold with the DSP. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Beautiful card Sue. I love the pop out heart, such a great idea.

  4. I agree Sue. It's so nice to give and receive 'love' cards throughout the year. I like the fold.

  5. I love the fold with the heart standing proud - Thanks for being part of our hop.

  6. Lovely card, really like the idea of trimming off part of the card front and the heart sticking over, really effective :-)

  7. I agree with you about this paper, too! Your card is so pretty! I love that you trimmed a little of the cardstock to showcase the heart with the gorgeous detail. Very pretty!

  8. Simply beautiful card. Love the way you have used this pretty paper.
