SCRAPPY SUNDAY 24TH APRIL, 2022

Another quick and easy card for todays Scrappy Sunday, for this card I used the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch.

My measurements are based on A4 cardstock

  • Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock  5 7/8" x  8 1/4" scored at 4 1/8" (14.9cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm)
  • Shaded Spruce Cardstock  4" x  5 6/8"  (10cm x 14.6cm)
  • Basic Black Cardstock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"  ( 9.8cm x 14.2cm  )
  • Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch
  • DSP Scraps
  • Scrap cardstock for sentiment
  • Shaded Spruce Ink
  • Sentiment stamp
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue

  1. Punch 10 pieces using contrasting DSP
  2. Leaving a slight birder between each attach to Basic Black cardstock
  3. Trim to 5 1/4" x 3 5/8" (13.3cm x 9.20)
  4. Attach to Shaded Spruce cardstock
  5. Attach to card base
  6. Stamp sentiment, cut it out using either a punch or die
  7. Attach to card using dimensionals.

The Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch can make some great backgrounds.

INK STAMP SHARE BLOG HOP APRIL, 2022

Welcome to this months Blog Hop with the Ink Stamp Share Group, we have a colour challenge this month.

The colours we were given are Melon Mambo, So Saffron & Granny Apple Green, three colours I find go well with black

For this card I took advantage of using one of my favourite stamp sets Tasteful Touches which is sadly retiring shortly.

I cut a Stitched Rectangle in each of the colours and using the Stamparatus to ensure the feathers were positioned correctly I used Versamark Ink to stamp and then embossed with White Embossing Powder.

I do like the result.

If you have any questions contact me at sueallensimplycraft@bigpond.com.

Thank you for stopping by, now onto the rest of the hop to be inspired, enjoy.<!-

STAMPIN' DREAMS BLOG HOP APRIL, 2022 SCRAPS

Welcome to my small part of this months blog hop.

This months theme is scraps, which is right up my street, which I will explain later.

The cardstock and papers that we have from Stampin' Up! are too gorgeous to throw away  and scraps can be used in so many ways.

My card today is made up of 3/4" strips, we all have those.

Very quick, very easy.

If you have any questions contact me at sueallensimplycraft@bigpond.com.

Thank you for stopping by, now onto the rest of the hop to be inspired, enjoy.

COLOUR COMBO BLOG HOP APRIL, 2022

Welcome to this months Colour Combo Blog Hop, I found the colours this month challenging so I can't wait to see what the other taking part will come up with, they are a very talented group.

Why was it challenging? Shaded Spruce, Garden Green & Sahara Sand are the colours, however using the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set I did manage to put something together.

The card base is Very Vanilla Thick which I scored the front at 1.4" intervals to give texture and some interest.

I used the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch after stamping the images, the sentiment is from the Days To Remember stamp set.
