LEST WE FORGET

What an amazing start to Anzac Day, Max had his poppy on and we joined thousands of Australians who couldn't commemorate this day in the traditional way but were not going to let the day pass by without anything. The Driveway Service was awesome and hopefully will now become a new tradition.

I made a small wreath to pop on our gate, it was very simple two rings of cardstock cut at 9 inches, then 12 poppies, cut from the Poppy Moments Dies using  Real Red and Cherry Cobbler cardstock for 11 and one using Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.

The purple poppy is to remember the animals who were victims of war.

Another great tradition is the Anzac Biscuit, I wonder how many thousands have been made this week.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
